We need this in the YT cookbook!! -- Or on a sticky!!

Thanks for sharing. My Bubba was sick in March and my holistic vet said chicken broth - the worst thing I was horribly sick at the same time, so cooking anything seemed like major work - but I think we could have both been well off your recipe

The beauty of it is that it freezes so well. I have frozen it in ice trays, empty water bottles and even Food Saver bags ... just fill a bag half way, pop it in the freezer unsealed and when it's frozen, seal it with the machine. It keeps for a long time and it's so handy to have for lots of things ... especially when you're sick!! [I believe the cookbook has already gone to the printer .... wish I had thought of it sooner!]

Thanks for posting the recipe. I've always used canned chicken broth, but I'll bet they will like this one better.

You're welcome! I have used the canned in a tight pinch but even the low sodium has some salt in it and I am always a little uneasy when I have to give Toto anything with added salt. At least when I give her something that I have made, I know exactly what's in it.

I am sorry for not updating sooner! Sierra, I am happy to say, is totally back to normal. Poops, being bossy, etc. I hope everyone, especially those of you who have chewers, will learn from Sierra. I had no idea that it could be so dangerous for one to eat polyfil. We are fortunate that Toto has never torn open a toy but that doesn't mean that she won't do it tomorrow! Had the medicine and treatment not worked and Sierra had to have had the surgery, the cost would have been around $3,000 to save her life! It will certainly make me much more careful and I will be watching Miss Prissy Paws more closely than ever!!

Thank you all again for all your prayers and for caring. i don't think I could have been more freightened had it been my Toto!

I'm so happy to see that all turned out for Sierra! I can't even count the number of times Maddie has ripped toys apart...just tonight I was sewing and when I happened to look at the two little stinkers, there was polyfill all over the floor and couch. Hope they didn't eat any!
