Huey is starting to get a little back to normal. I am still pretty worried about his butt though. I, well my sister, is taking him back to our regular vet on Friday morning to get checked out. They had said that he may need another week's worth of medicine. So we will see. He may also have to have surgery, so I will see what the vet has to say about that.

Just wanted to give a quick update.

thank you for updating. I was wondering about Huey. I will pray he improves so much he won't need surgery. Is he sleeping less. Pray the medicine really kicks in

He is sleeping a little less and has his sassy attitude back, so I know he feels a bit better!

I have a question for someone. I want to give him a bath, but what do you guys think? Do you think I should wait or can I go ahead and give him one because he has some stuff on his tail and it looks like he needs to have it washed.

having a bath, might make him feel better. Maybe you could call the vet and check. But if you can't call tonight and want to do it, before your sister takes him, I would go ahead and do it. I would just be real gentle

He is getting better every day. He still has open sores that are slowly, and I mean very slowly healing. He was given another 2 weeks of antibiotics. He is back to his old self, which is good. But yes, he is getting better.

We are waiting until the two weeks are up for the vet to see if he will have to have surgery.

Thanks for the update. Praying the healing speeds up. So glad he is back to being the great boy he is. Give him a snuggle from us!
