Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this. I wish Vicki and Blue Boy an easy diagnosis and fast healing. Let's hope it is nothing serious and they can go home soon.

Just got off the phone with Michelle and she's with Vickie and Bleu and he's calm and stable...they've taken him back for Xrays but he's stable. It will be about an hour for to look everything over and Michelle will post when she gets home or Swimmom will get on and post when more news comes in.
Keep them in your prayers...

Vicki and Bleu Boy are still at A&M. During the exam they were able to hear some wheezing from Bleu and decided to sedate him and do a full series of head and chest X-rays in order to determine the cause. There is no diagnosis as of yet, so as to whether it is his previous condition, a trachea condition, or merely something such as kennel cough has yet to be determined.

Vicki is tired, but in good spirits. Michele is there with her and Vicki has said that it is great having another Yorkie friend to sit with and keep her mind occupied.

While waiting there was an urgent medical issue with another animal at the hospital and so they were delayed in taking Bleu's x-rays. They have just now sedated him and then of course it will take some time to then read the films and come to a conclusion.

I will try to stay awake as long as I can in order to update and/or Michele will fill you in when she gets home with some more information regarding Bleu's results/condition.

Again, Vicki appreciates her Yorkie family so much and knows that your prayers and good wishes are helping them all.

Poor little Bleu...he doesn't deserve to go through all this...

I am praying for him and his mommy...Michelle what a good friend you are to stay there and support her! I know she needs it right now!

I just got home. Vicki and Mark ought to be home by 3:00am. Bleu Boy is doing well right now - just sleepy from the sedation. He's gotten so much bigger since I saw him last and his hair is really growing..such a sweet boy. And our friend Cynthia (crb) came by to sit with us as well. While at A&M he didn't get excited and go into a wheezing spell like he had been...he was too busy watching everything else going on. But they did hear some wheezing when they listened to his trachea. They took a good history and did head, neck, and chest x-rays. His lungs looked good and his pins hadn't moved at all so that really made Vicki feel better as she was very afraid he had reinjured his neck. So his x-rays looked good. You can't really see collapsed trachea on x-rays most of the time or see irritation so they couldn't definitively diagnose him tonight. They suspect it could be allergies, irritation from choking on a treat last week, gastroesophageal reflux, or maybe collapsing trachea. They are overnighting Pepsid tomorrow for him to start on since the pharmacy was closed and they needed to make up a special dose for him since he is so small. And Vicki will be bringing him back for a check-up on Friday. So we'll see if his wheezing gets worse, better, or stay the same.

So..good news! Pins are in place and x-rays looked good. Bleu Boy is stable and his wheezing will be monitored. Next checkup this Friday.

Thankyou everyone for keeping Vicki, Mark, and Bleu Boy in your prayers and for calling, texting, and leaving messages here. I know Vicki really appreciates everyone's concern for her baby.

I knew there was a reason I stayed up so late tonight!

I am so happy to hear Bleu hasn't reinjured himself. He's been through so much already, I'm praying the check up on Friday goes smoothly as well.

Vicki, I'm so glad you are blessed with YT friends that can be there with you!
