Please keep us posted. I learned the hard way to check out yt before giving anything new, even treats. Tricksie has been sick 3 times with a bacterial infection, from Bully Stix, Flossies, and changing to wet Innova EVO, only 1 teas. mixed with her regular food. How old is your baby? Hope everything is going to be alright.

Hello! Just This Past Saturday Evening, My Little Zowi Started To Have Some Similar Symptoms...my Husband And I Thought She Had Swallowed Something, Or She Was Constipated. Her Belly Has Rock Hard Also, Crying, Hunch Position, Seemed To Be In A Lot Of Pain, And Cried When You Tried To Pick Her Up. (which She Never Does) Turns Out, Our Vet Said It Sounded Like Something Wrong With Her Back.... She Did A Digital Radiograph, And Revealed To Us On A Laptop Computer, And Found Her To Have Degenerative Disc Disease. The Dr. Also Explained Her Stomach Was Hard From Clenching Her Abdominal Area From Pain, And She Wouldn't Have A Bowel Movement Because It Was Painful To Assume The Position. Yorkies Have Been In My Life Since I Was A Baby. I Am No Expert, But Your Situation Sounded Similar.... I Will Hope For Something Better Though! She Got An Injection, Pain Meds, And Strict Orders For No Activity Whatsoever For A Few Weeks, Not Even Going Up And Down Her Doggie Stairs. So We Have Had To Crate Her Constantly, Except For Potty Breaks. Poor Little Baby! I Will Say A Prayer For You & Your Sweet Little Baby And Hope For Good News!!!! Keep Us Posted & Hang In There!! Hope Your Next Vet Will Be Able To Help You Better! Good Luck!

oh geez..^^^ i havnt been on here for a while but i knew that i would get an anwer or at least amazing suppost and ideas here

its so hard with 2 dogs trying to keep her from eating and trying to get my baby ( 12 week) boy to eat more, he is too skinny.. and now i wil have to keep him on the royal C and her on her old food ... any ideas for keeping them seperate other than the obvious of keeping them in seperate rooms for feeding of feeding them at seperate times?

Bella( the sick little girl) is ~ 10 months

UPDATE Bella was still not feeling well this morning after the "fast" but her tummy was smaller .. still rock had but it was smaller, i called the vet, she said come in and she would look at her and to buy some laxative from her and go from there
so i go in, she says it has to be from changing her food so quickly, but the Royal Canin Yorkie is the best thing for her so keep her on it, i got to the car gave her some of the laxative and we drove home.. by the time we got home she had perked up and was acting more normal than i had seen her in the last 2 weeks. so its been about 10 hours since she had the laxative and she is back to normal.
