Hi, just came across this thread, so sorry to read that Toby has been in pain. I hope he is doing better now that he is back home. Prayers for you both, I can imagine how worried you must be, take it easy, many are praying and God is wonderful

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Toby. Hope you are able to find out the source of what is wrong with your baby. I agree, we hurt when they hurt. Please keep us updated and know that we are thinking of you. Toby baby, get well soon. Winston sends his love...and wishes you well!!!

Aww, poor little Toby. I can only imagine how scared these little pups must be when they are left at a vet's. I'm glad he's coming home and doing better. I'll certainly keep him in my prayers.

Just curious, did they do a lyme panel?

Toby is doing better today and he seemed to have slept pretty well last night. I think he was exhausted from his stay at the hospital and is very happy to be home. He is not exhibiting any signs of pain, but then again his eyes just don't seem to be shining as bright either. I know that he is not in extreme pain, but I think he is still feeling some belly discomfort.
They did do a Lyme panel and it came back negative.
I am going to have his regular vet redo some of the tests next week to perhaps get a better reading.

Toby seemed to be doing so well these past few days, but I woke up this morning to see him shaking once again and he refused his breakfast. I have a call into the Vet and his regular vet has returned today from her vacation. She has surgical appointments all day, but hopefully she will call when she can. Until then, I will hold and comfort him and hopefully it is not as serious as last time ....
