| ![]() Her gums seem to get whiter whenever we leave her withough food for 5-6+ hours...mostly at night since her last feeding is at midnight and we'll get up at 6-7am. I think we will need to get up at 4am or something to feed her. I been trying many different things. Today I crushed some kibbles in yogurt and she liked it. She also fell in love with macaroni and cheese. She was eating like she had never seen food before. I am just worried about giving her all these different type of foods. O dpn;t want it to cause diarrhea or vomiting. Also I grew up with people telling me that you should never give table food to your pets, yet here I am doing so. should I give her nutrical 3 times or 2 times/day? |

| ![]() Before you start giving her too much Nutri-cal I would try the Karo syrup and water and give her some pedialite. How are her stools, hard or soft? She needs to have at least two good BM's a day. |

| ![]() i tried a piece of boiled chicked a few mins ago and she went crazy for it. She pooped right after and it was moist, not diarrhea, but very moist like her canned food almost. This is from all the changing of foods I bet. I went to buy some canned pumpkin, but could not find any. should i try anything else? i don;t want to upset her little stomach with all these. I also read on a breeders site that we should give 1ml of corn syrup with every feeding and nutrical 3 times/day. Has anyone tried or recommend this? |

I have used the Nutri-cal in conjunction with the Karo (corn) syrup. I just think it is better to get the Pet-tinic from the vet and use that twice a day. Too much Nutri-cal is not good. | |
