| Need Some Advice It's gonna sound gross and I am truly sorry but I am worried. Little Man just vomited. His vomit was yellow and kinda foamy. He hadn't ate anything since this morning. I tried to get him to eat and drink earlier but he just turned and walked away. Just a few mins ago I finally got him to eat and drink, but only after he vomited. I had to hand feed him his kibble and dip my fingers in his water bowl. He's been active but not like his usual self. He does have a vet appt in the morning. Is there anything I can give him to help soothe his tummy?

| Normally when they throw up yellow, foamy stuff, it is because they have an empty tummy. Since you got him to eat now, his tummy will probably settle down. Have you checked his gums to see if they are pink? If they are gray or whitish, you should give him some nutrical or karo syrup. I hope your little guy is feeling better!

Thanks, I hope he does too. I don't like it when he's not feeling good.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Sounds like you've got it under control. Throwing up like that is not terribly unusual, so try not to panic.

| Sounds like bile to me! Has he eaten anything new? My friends dog had the same problem just a week ago and it was caused by a new treat she had eaten. The vomit is yellow because there isn't anything in the tummy! I know that you can give them childrens mylanta or Peptol. The plain clear pedialite (childrens drink) is good too, the electrolytes keep them from getting dehydrated, kind of like gatorade for a human! Sounds like an irritated tummy to me.....but I'm not a Dr. Hope your baby feels better soon!

| Update! Took Little Man to the vet this morning. Told vet what happened and he said that I done the right thing with the karo syrup. They checked his temp which was normal. They weighed him. He weighs 5.5 1/2 at 11 weeks. I asked if that was a problem, they said no cause he will be a 10 to 12 lbs. as an adult. They said right now not to worry about his weight cause he is still a puppy and he will run and play the weight off as he grows. They did do a test on him. It starts with an F, lol I can't pronounce it so therefore I'm not sure how to spell it. That came up negative. The smell from his ears was due to the hair inside. They showed me how to remove the hair. I can't do it. That's for the groomer to do. He yelped and whined and it just broke my heart. I actually had to go outside while they removed his ear hair. He don't have an ear infection. He got his 2nd set of shots today. All in all he got a clean bill of health!
