My Little Man! Donating Member | OMG My Baby Is Throwing Up! I am completely in panic! It started happening around 8 pm. I thought at first that you know how yorkies are sometimes their little stomach is so sensitive. I didnt give him anything different from what I usually do same routines. He didnt get to anything my house is puppy proof. He threw up after he ate. I first thought it might be the treat eventhou I use them all the time so I went on recalls and no name came up. So I figure let me see if its a treat so I didnt give it to him today at all. After he threw up he was back to normal himself tail up and even wanted to play so I didnt think anything serious at first but was watching him. I made him drink water so he stays hydrated. After he took a knap he threw up again its kind of yellowish. So at this point it doesnt matter if its food or treats or whatever. As soon as my vet opens I am there today! I just hope its not liver shunt because I read that those poor babies get sick after they eat Maxi is 1 year old but I know in some cases liver shunt can be shown later on. I am just worried sick Now after he threw up again I calmed him down and put him on his bed so he is sleeping right now. I didnt have any sleep at all I just didnt sleep I needed to monitor him all the hours.

| Aww, please try not to worry. Vomiting is a symptoms of so many things. It is best to check a Yorkie's liver when they are having any problems but there are other things that come to mind first. What are you feeding?

My Little Man! Donating Member | Thank you guys. I called the vet and he is coming in the office at 4 pm so I am the first one who he will see. Since 6 am Maxi has been sleeping. Now he is awake acting normal barking and stuff so I am a little relieved. I will talk to vet about Bile Test. So after we come back I will update. Ellie May, Maxi eats Eagle Pack Holistic Select. All his treats are holistic too Eagle Pack and Wellness.

| Could he have gotten into something outside? Zander had a vomiting episode around the 3rd of Jan. it is very scary to see them sick like that. The vet gave him some antinausea meds, a shot of something. Went back home, that evening he was not throwing up anymore ... it had to come out some how so the dreaded D started. Back to the vets the next morning ... he diagnosed Z as having a bacterial thing in his tummy. So he was put on anitbiotics, I put him on a diet suggested on a thread, fish, mash potatoes, & pureed green beans, he was D free after that. I am hoping for something simple for your baby. I look forward to hearing that all he need is a little antibiotic and he will be okidoky.

My Little Man! Donating Member | Update I just came from the vet. Maxi is fine. His poop is great and he act normal. Vet said sometimes certain things can trigger their stomach. He said dont let him eat for today just let him rest. He gave him a shot that helps his stomach and the linings. The vet said he will be just sleepy for tonight because the shot relaxes them its sort of a side effect but he said it is a good thing because he needs to rest. I think I know why it might trigger him to vomit. Yesterday he didnt see me for a whole day and was so excited to see me. We were doing tricks and I gave him treats and maybe that excitement and the treats trigger his little stomach. So now he is resting. I am glad I got a clean bill of health today. So I am gonna go rest with my baby because I had no sleep at all.

My Little Man! Donating Member | Whew finally got a time to type here. I am babysitting Maxi's cousin as of today and for 2 weeks and she came in today to us. So now its like 24/7 work for me to make sure everyone is playing nice and obeying the rules. Maxi is doing great still sleepy but no throwing up anymore thank god. Poor baby seems hungry but my vet asked me not to give him any food so his stomach will be completely clean. Oh thats just kills me he keeps on going to his bowl So as soon as we wake up he will get his food I got so nervous with him that I think my stomach started to bother me oh I guess my nerves. So Maxi and I are recovering
