| Update to all you nice people who emailed me :) I had so many nice responses from some of you, and I dont know how to use this system very well, so I dont know how to email you all back! I said I would never post on here again, but I wanted you all to know the results. The vet said his liver is enlarged from the examination, she thinks it maybe something such as cancer or valley fever They gave him an I.V. of fluids, and an extensive blood lab work up. She said we will know by tomorrow what his liver count is etc.. but the valley fever blood work sometimes takes 2-3 days before it gets back. Otherwise, he didnt have a fever or anything. I am sure we will know more then tomorrow on the blood work. Once again thank you all who were so kind to me!!! Keep petey boy in your prayers. |

| Prayers going up for Petey I'm sorry if you were mistreated in any way on this forum. People sometimes get pretty passionate about animals here, and things can sound mean when they're not meant to be at all I'm glad you decided to give YT a second chance Please do let us know how Petey's doing

| I missed your first post. But I am caught up now and am very happy that Petey is getting some attention. I hope that by being here on YT, you can reach out to the people who will help you. We all learn, not only just about taking care of our dogs, but also how we can handle all sorts of life's situations. Welcome to YT!

| Glad you'll be getting some answers. Did the vet do anything for his eye? Or did that improve with the IV? Will the vet want to check your husband's other dog? I'm sorry, I don't know anything about valley fever - is it contagious? To send someone a PM there are several ways to do this. One is if you are in a thread like this, you can click on the user name of the person you want to message, several options will pop up - choose the one that says send private message. Another way is in the upper right-hand part of each page, under where it says welcome, and your username - it says Private Messages, click on that Glad your still here.
