AWw thanks so much. I will be taking him tomorrow AM just to be on the safe side, I will worry myself sick if I don't. He doesn't go out much at all but he did go out the other morning to see Daddy, and now i am worrying that he got something outside. I am a worry wart. I got the pot going of rice right now, and have our Nutra Cal so I will give him some of that until tomorrow. I really appreciate it!

Sounds like the ham started the tummy problem. Too much fat for their little systems. Glad you will visit the vet tomorrow and, going forward, keep a can of pumpkin in your pantry. It is the wonder "drug" for our pups. However, it sounds like he is smelly and probably has the beginning of pancreatitis. Unfortunately, most of us have experienced this condition during our Yorkie's lifetime.

Look forward to hearing he is on the mend and the vet will have the proper medications to settle down his tummy. Don't be too hard on yourself, I feed my little Sophie meatloaf when she was a pup, and it made her so sick. Still remember the vet telling me "these little guys can't tolerate greasy or rich food".

aww poor Parker... give him some Pepto... that's what my vet assist. friend told me to do...

The doctor will give you Amoxycicillin (sp??) drops.. which is pretty much the same thing... but do give them a call anyway.

I think it's supposed to be plain white rice (I may be wrong)

I normally do.. rice.. chicken.. and strained baby food (no turkey) all mixed together

K thanks, do you know the dosage? I am going to at least call her (the vet) and see what she think. And all I have is brown rice and he is just nibbling on it so I am sure he will be fine. I am out of CHICKEN because I am on this diet and we just went through our last jar of baby food...I am not prepared I guess! I am learning my lesson. I am going to get us all stocked up this weekend.

Sometimes I can be the biggest space cadet ! I found some frozen chicken breasts in the freezer! So I am cooking him one up right now And he took a tsp. of Nutra Cal too, so I am hoping for some more solid poops and a happier boy!

Nope your right, and thank you so much. He is sleeping just fine having puppy dreams while I sit here. I am going to try and get some rest right now, we'll see how he is in the AM! Again, thank you so much!

But so much? His butt was wet? Take him in, it is worth your peace of mind plus his health. Sometimes my little ones gets the runs for a couple days but they still drink and eat and play, some of those treats be it natural ornot are filled with hidden crap
