| Mochi hit her head and was in the emergency Today Mochi was so happy when I said "Let's play!!", she tried to rush from the kitchen to the living room where we treat as playground. She slipped in the kitchen's hardwood floor and fell, hit her head and did not immediately get up (she always gets up on her own after falling). She stationed on the floor on her side without moving. I held her up and her gesture was exactly the same, she eyes were kind of starring at one point and not blinking at all. This stayed for more than 10 seconds. I was so horrified that I rushed her to the emergency immediately. I cried while driving her to the vet and cried more while waiting for the vet to check her up. The vet took her in the back office to examine. After about 5 minutes, the vet came and told me she passed all the tests and she should be fine. Boy....now I know REALLY how much I love her even though sometimes she is a little too much. I am now thinking of how to prevent her from slipping on the kitchen floor.......

| Oh you had quite a scare! Sorry you had to go through that! I'm glad everything is ok. Maybe get some heavy indoor/outdoor rugs for the kitchen, thats what we have and it really helps! Plus my feet stay warm on the tile!

I have some runner rug placed nearby the sink and stove area. Perhaps I have to put rugs in the whole kitchen..... Thanks for the advice!
