| What to put on srape that's bleeding? I took the girls out for their bedtime stroll and foxxy was coming down the porch steps and I think it was one of those things where you think there's one more step but it isn't...Needless to say, she took a little tumble or I guess her front legs buckled and she scrapped her chin, right under the bottom lip..she let out a yelp but after a few moments and after I carried her for a little bit, she got her bearings and we finished our walk. It wasn't until we got back in and I double-checked her legs again, then looked under her chin and noticed her chin was bleeding. It's a little gash but doesn't look deep. What can I clean it with. I put water on a paper towel and held it but that's about it. Any other home remedies I can use? Thanks

| I would normally say Neosporin but since she could lick her chin that wouldn't be a good idea. Hmmm. I will say if it looks bad in the morning call your vet and ask them to give you something for it.

| I don't have the pencil..but do have some baby powder and neosporin...just wanted to be sure what and what not I could use. I think she's okay..just keeps asking to be picked up...typical "spoil me now cuz I'm hurt"....seems to be okay though. I went ahead and held her since Diva's puppy Duchess was trying to play and she likes to jump on her head...I'll keep an eye on it thru the night until it stops bleeding for good. Thanks for your help!

| Hmmm. It's right under her bottom lip...do you think she can reach there..not sure if I've ever paid attention whether she can or not. I'll keep an eye on it and call the vet if need be! Thanks

| Good idea. I'll do that. We're getting ready to go to bed now...and she'll be in the bed with me so I'll be able to keep an eye on her..

| Okay, I confess Ellie has licked Neosporin before. It didn't hurt her. But whenever Neosporin comes up Ellie's vet says I can use it as long as she can't lick it. So I would NOT let her lick it...
