|  Gracie is feeling better this evening. She ate fairly well at lunch, not so at dinner, but she enjoyed playing with her hide-a-squirrel and was interested in visiting with Holly. I also got loads of kisses today, which tells me my baby is on the mend! Here is a picture of her this evening with her hide-a-squirrel.

| Yorkie Lover Donating Member  | Glad to hear Gracie is doing better this evening! I have had you & Gracie in my thoughts & prayer. I hope you can get Gracie's tummy better - I would imagine it is hard enough without those extra troubles. Thanks again for continuing to share Gracie's recovery .... it is very helpful to those of us with pups with LP.

I would be very suspicious of it though and Rimadyl is not the safest drug ever, so I would TELL my vet I was discontinuing it. You can always start it back up if her diarrhea doesn't clear up because then you'd know it isn't it. Rimadyl can cause liver and kidney damage and even death. I think Tramadol is much safer but I'm not sure that will manage her pain adequately. Your vet might be able to replace it with something. It is used in orthopedics extensively though...
