I'm so sorry to hear about this!!
I hope he'll be alright, i'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers..

My German Shepherd who we had years ago, gave us a parvo scare when we 1st got him. The breeder moved, and dumped the pup on the neighbors who were abusing him, and and they sold him to us with registration for $100. He wasn't the friendliest puppy (but grew up to be the SWEETEST dog) and drew blood with a bite -while we were there- but I couldn't leave the guy there. So we brought him home, and he started having diarrhea, vomiting, etc, and we called the vet, and the told us it could be parvo, and I freaked out. We'd had him for about a week at that time, and I was already attached to the little guy. I cried the whole way to the vet, shaking. THANK GOODNESS, it wasn't parvo. I can't remember now what it was he even had...

Anyway, I hope little Franklin will pull through!

I know you have done everything you can to help Franklin......you are a very good mommy. He just had so many health problems when you got him and a weak immune system. He could have picked up the parvo from the vets on one of his earlier visits....you just never know. I am just thankful he will be okay and I am sorry you have had to go through this.

Many years ago, my ex husband brought home two abandoned puppies. One had parvo. I cleaned up after him, feed him by hand boiled chicken and rice and chicken broth instead of water. After many sleepless nights (weeks), he started to gain weigh, get strong and SURVIVED! You can do it too!

I personally used STRAIGHT bleach on EVERYTHING! Not that it mattered my baby died yesterday . my carpet and furniture i used bleach 2 the vet told me afterwords taht would not work...so i wen tout and got some clorox kitchen cleaner and soaked my carpet in it. i threw away his carrier, toys, blankets, treats, everything htat had to do with my teddy. (was going to even if he lived.) the vet told me it can live in the ground for 5 years, and in your home for 7-9 months. she told me that just to be on the safe side do NOT buy a puppy for at least a year. (not htat i really want to at this point. life is a little cloudy without him. )

Oh i forgot to tell you i am so happy he seems to be getting better. the only reason my teddy died is i had no way to get him to the vet (got to my car and it would not start) I got him there a couple days later and it was too late. but it seems that you found yours in time! I am praying for you and franklin.

Also have you talked to your breeder? do they have a health guarantee? this bill will probably be VERY high....
