| Tonsilitis - Help! Hi, my 5 year old male Yorkie got sick on Monday, 21st Jan 2008. I immediately took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with tonsillitis. He has been on anti-biotics (synuvlox) since then (5th day today) and his temperature has still not come down. He only eats a little once a day when he gets an anti-inflammatory tablet (which the vet says he can only have once in 24 hrs. I syringe fluids (water and rehydrate) into his mouth, but he's very resistant, because of the sore throat. I've taken him back to the vet, they've done another blood smear, and came up with nothing more. I also give him a homeopathic preparation called Eco Heal 4 times a day. Last night I started him on tissue salts: Ferr phos and Kali Mur alternatively. Any advice on anything else I can try? The poor little guy is miserable, and I'm getting more and more worried. Don't know what I'll do if something happens to him. What about vitamins? Please help!! Stellie PS He's never had tonsillitis before. In fact he's never been sick before! |

I know apples are ok- applesause-i don't know- pumkin is for tummies, but maybe a spoon ful of chilled pumkin- i'm guessing Someone on here will know- for sure. Hope he gets better soon |
