| Tamiflu and Parvo "The best laid plans ..." and all that stuff ... On another board I frequent that has a rescue forum, some puppies were adopted out of a kill shelter. Within hours, they developed Parvo symptoms. Tamiflu was suggested by a member; the new owners discussed it with the vet, who didn't put much faith in it, but they insisted and the vet just kinda went along with them to make them happy. The dogs recovered completedly. The vet was astounded and has added Tamiflu to his medical "war chest". Here is the protocol: http://drbroadhurst.com/modules.php?...le=print&sid=2 It has also been used successfully in treating kennel cough: http://www.bi-mar.com/tamiflu.asp I thought this information may be useful at some time for someone. I sincerely hope you never need it, but it's nice to know there's hope. |
