| Help! Vomiting... My husband called me at work and told me Lexie had vomited. He said it was cream colored, foamy, and he could see fibers (rug or blanket maybe?). He said she was really lazy and not her usual energetic self. When I got home she was excited to see me but not jumping like usual. I gave her a bit of peanut butter and a dab of honey to see if she would eat it and she went to town on it. She looks better but still very slow and calm. Should I be worried? We called the vet and he said it's probably a fluke. I'm not sure I trust him very much, but I sure trust the YT crew. Love, Nervous New Mom |

| I would make sure she's getting plenty of water and just keep an eye on her for now. Sometimes they just get an upset tummy and throw up and then they are fine a few hours later. If she starts to show other symptoms like shaking, repeatedly thowing up, or anything that just seems really abnormal, then I'd get her to a vet right away

| Over the last 18 years and two Yorkies, if we have learned anything it is that the most sensitive stomach on earth belongs to a Yorkie. We lost Rusty a short time ago and one of his problems all his life was throwing up. However up until near the end it was always very sporadic. You must ensure that there is never anything that they could accidentaly ingest, we never really to this day gotten a complete answer to his problems and remain in wonder. Best of luck and hopefully it is of no consequence. |

| Was it possible the fibers were grass? When Logan doesn't feel good he eats grass & then throws it up & it looks like that all foamy. We've had trouble with Logan's tummy lately. With the holidays & all he ate things he shouldn't have & got off his normal schedule. Hopefully soon he'll be back to normal. I'm glad to hear Lexie is doing better.

| Rex is vomiting tonight, too. Rex is vomiting tonight, too. STRANGELY grainy green vomit, which is not common for him. Wondering if he ate something when we pottied outside in the dark. I keep him on an expandable tether, but he still gobbles up any little thing (the more gross the better!) he finds before you can see what is happening to stop it. I gave him 1/4 a Pepcid, which is his old standby for recurring stomach problems. He's sleeping now. Hope some of us get some rest tonight. Must work tomorrow. |
