| What to expect after teeth cleaning? Hi Milo had his teeth cleaned yesterday, the vet said everything went great. When I picked him up he seemed a little out of it. When we first got home he just slept, than he ate one piece of food (canned Merrick grandmas pot pie) and he threw up the piece, slept some more we a few hours later ate more food and kept it down, but did not drink any water. i brought the water in the bedroom in case he got thirsty in the middle of the night ( I have no idea as I sleep like the dead LOL) This morning we went for our walk and again I fed him the Merrick (It is his sick food, he loves it I can hide anything in it) but he still does not seem interested in the water, he did not come home on any medicine. Is this normal? Thank you for your help Cheryl |

| I guess I would figure 24 hours after him being woken up from the anesthesia. After that he should be back to normal. He shouldn't be in much pain if they didn't go under the gums. If you are worried about dehydration you could syringe him water.
