| Niacinamide?? My yorkie is 6 months old and has a pink lesion that covers the right bottom section of his nose under the nostril. He has had it for three months. The dermatologist started him on Niacinamide this past Wednesday at a dosage of 250 mg, 3x a day for 30 days. Not too bad to get him to swallow the tablets thanks to Pill Pockets treats (highly recommended) and hopefully he can show some improvement before the next, added treatment of tetracycline begins in a couple of weeks. Has anybody on this board ever administered Niacinamide to their Yorkies? What side effects can I look for? Did it do any good for your baby? What about Tetracycline? What side effects? Any results? Thank you on behalf of a very active little Yorkie who doesn't realize that he might be in for a long haul of meds or more at his young age. CF |

| No, I wasn't using a pinch collar when it formed on his nose in early October. I only used a pinch collar, and gently at that, no more than twice after attending a training seminar that uses that device. After two gentle uses at home in early December I gave it up. No, his problem is involved in his immune system, not what kind of collar he wears. |
