| Emma's Throwing Up! Help! We just came home to a sick Emma! She threw up once before we left, probably around 4:30, but I figured it was an isolated incident...I fed her dinner around 5, she ate as usual without anything weird, so I thought she was better. We left for the evening around 6, and we came home to 2-3 poops on the pad plus at least 3 spots of vomit all over our duvet cover Then, as I was cleaning up our comforter & room, she threw up again on the carpet in our office. I gave them fish and potato with carrot for dinner-all foods they've had before. She did throw up before dinner...could she just have a doggie flu bug or something? Any advice what to do? She is almost 2, and is 6.5 lbs. Thanks in advance!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | if you suspect nothing else is wrong she probably just has an upset tummy. Morgan actually threw up twice about 30 minutes ago too, but it was just yellow bile. i made her eat and now she's better. if she throws up again i'll give her some yogurt. Give emma some plain yogurt if you have some. it helps settle the stomach and aids the digestive system.

| Yuck...I suppose. I will just put her blanket on our bed, and wait until morning to give her anything else to eat/drink...

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I am so sorry to hear that little Emma is sick! I hope throughout the night she gets better. Poor little girl. Hopefully she will just rest Tatum had an upset tummy tonight and I gave her some Pepto Bismol and she seems to be doing quite a bit better now (although I think she hates me for giving her that nasty stuff ). She may not be 100% better yet, but she is better. I will say a little prayer for Emma that she doesn't have anymore throw ups! It isn't fun Give that little sweetie a gentle little hug for me

| Suzy, how is Emma this morning?? Poor girl. The all-natural plain yogurt does sound like a good idea. It's harder to find though - I just bought some this week, Dannon makes it - make sure you buy something with out corn syrup added.

| Thanks everyone for your help and get better wishes for Emma. She threw up at least 1 more time in the middle of the night At least this time she was courteous and got out of bed to throw up on the rug that I can wash. She actually let me sleep until 6:45 which is UNHEARD of for her-she usually wakes me up at 5 because she wants breakfast-so obviously she's not her normal self. She is actually in a very good, cuddly, and even sometimes playful mood, so I think she may be feeling better. She wanted to eat when she woke up, and I don't have any yogurt in the house (I need to run out and get some in a bit). I made a little oatmeal, and fed that to her with some hard-boiled egg (just the white), and a little mashed banana. She ate it right up. She hasn't thrown up again, but I have heard her kind of gulp like she wants to...I'm not sure she's quite all better yet. I'm going to run to the store today and get some yogurt for her, and hopefully that will help. She's wrestling with Milli right now-I think that's a good sign.

| Suzy, Thank you for the update. Glad to hear she's keeping breakfast down. Hopefully it was just a little problem that has now passed out of her system. after I posted before, I thought silly me trying to give you advice on food! Sure you know exactly what kind of yogurt to buy!

| Glad to hear that Emma is able to hold down food. Watch for more loose poopies and/or nausea. I would recommend seeing the vet asap if she continues to be sick so she doesn't become dehydrated. Warmly, Deborah
