| I'm sorry your dog has a broken leg. Our boy Yorkie, Max broke his leg when he was 3 1/2 mos. old. My son dropped him and he just fell wrong on his leg, he healed great and wasn't in any pain after a couple days. Good luck with everything! |

My Patrick proved the old saying "third time is a charm!" He's definitely found a "forever home"! Pat [YorkieRose], I certainly appreciated your humor. My Amanda has the most animated two children I have ever seen [8 yr. old boy and 4 yr. old girl]. They are absolutely the joy of her life! She told me the other day "Mom, they are just scarry sometimes .... I thought about hiding from them! She never would ... but, in my mind I could just see her! I am so thankful that little Bella is healing with a splint. I will be praying that with all the TLC from her loving Mom that she won't require surgery later on. Clean breaks usually knit back nicely and Bella will be zipping around in no time!! Please keep us updated.

| Bella is doing ok, she is being cofined to an ex pen when I can't be right with her. I've downsized it so it only fits a little bed and her pee pad. I had to remove her water from there because she can't get the splint wet and i'm having a really hard time getting her to drink water when I offer it. Any suggestions? I have to hold her food up for her to eat too and she is only eating soft food right now. She is being a bit of a Diva i'm sure but she can't really bend down to eat or drink out of her bowls with her leg so straight and big so she needs help. She really really wants to just run and play and she gets around pretty good when I set her on the rug. However its to good and I end up picking her up so she doesn't get hurt. It's going to be a long long several weeks.
