Poor darling, I hope that her leg heals fast:( She could just as easily have hurt her leg from trying to climb out of her pen, or any number of ways. It may not have been your son's doing. Perhaps this could be used to even further teach him how very fragile she is, even if he didn't do anything, kwim;) And as for jokes about rehoming your son, I think it was uncalled for myself. Of course, the poster putting one of these>>>> in the post MIGHT have helped to convey the fact that it WAS a joke. |
Im so sorry, and im sure your son is to, accidents happen, hoping she heals very soon, hugs to ya. |
Awww, poor Bella! My friend dropped her 8 yr old teacup (seriously teacup) poodle and she broke her leg; it was so sad looking. But she did just great even though she had to be pretty much confined and away from her other dogs (she's got 3 tiny Maltese and a tiny Yorkie too) so she wouldn't get too rambunctious....my friend got her one of those porta ?cribs...I'm not familiar with baby stuff, but this was a really cute soft web sort of crib that she just set up (it was on wheels too) wherever she moved in or out of the house so that Gigi would still be in the middle of all the hoo hah going on....of course, Gigi still cried, b/c she only wants to be held, LOL, but it was a really good way to keep her safe and yet be able to be in the middle of everything. Accidents happen. It doesn't really matter how careful you are or how mindful you are, you can't be everywhere at once and things can just happen so quickly, so don't beat yourself up! Believe me, I know:( . Let us know how she's doing! |

LOL..Dagnabbit on the husbands;) . I just want to say that I laughed at the comment too, but I think you have a whole different perspective when you haven't ever had children and things that you say in jest, that would be taken as humorous by other people who don't have kids, just isn't particularly funny to someone who does. Especially when it's just a little one, who is so vulnerable; ....teenagers......all I know is I think my mom told me she was going to sell me to the Gypsies at many times in my life:rolleyes: . No offense to anyone who might be one....you wouldn't have taken me for free:p . I believe the post was just to make you laugh so you didn't feel so bad about Bella. |
Here's wishing little Bella fast healing! Poor baby! |

My paddy's leg is all healed now. He had to have surgery b/c the break was through the wrist joint. It was tough keeping him from moving for so long but now he can jump and run and everything. I am sure Bella will be good as new in 8weeks too! |
Hugs from Chloe and Zoey. Everyone knows you are a good mommy. You are taking good care. Can't ask for better. Accidents happen. PS> If anyone finds out how to re-home a teenager...call me! |
Accidents dont have an age on them, I have read stories here on YT about adults, teenagers and all kind of ages having accidenlty hurt a little one. The comment about "rehoming" your son was ment as a joke I am sure......Dont take it personal. |
