| Stringy stools I am new to this site and have a 2 year old Yorkie. Today when he goes poop it is like his stools are connected with string and he is pretty clingy and wants to be held. Is this anything for me to worry about? I have read on here that some give Pepto Bismol but I am worried to give him anything. Any advice would be helpful. Sandi |

| He may have just ate something that did not agree with him. If he has a irritated colon then just a teaspoon of canned pumpkin would help him. Most of the time these things correct them selves naturally. Just keep a close eye on him. As long as he is not straining or acting too uncomfortable then I would not worry unless it continues. Keep us posted on how he is doing. |
