| Canned Pumpkin Charlie and I flew to California for the holidays, and he returned with a very upset tummy. I am so thankful to YT and the knowledge that is shared. I began with a 5cc. of Pepto, no luck and he was extremely acidic. Rembered the pumpkin and a quarter of acid reducer in tablet form. Both did the trick, and he has returned to firm poopies. However, I will continue with the pumpkin for a few more days to insure his tummy is settled. Thanks for the excellent words of advice. Do wish I had known about YT when Sophie was so ill. Warmly, Deborah

| Canned pumpkin works great for loose stools and constipation. You can freezer the unused can pumpkin. Just drop little tablespoons full on wax paper and freeze. After they are frozen you can put them in a zip lock bag and use the later if needed. I am not sure how long the would keep but probably a few months |

| Sorry to hear Charlie had an upset tummy...but thrilled to hear he is now feeling better. Happy New Year hugs to you both from Winston and I. YT is most definitely a wealth of information, and I share your feelings about wishing I knew of it sooner...as with your Sophie, my Spencer may have benefited from all the words of wisdom here...too.

| Freezing Leftover Pumpkin Researched and found answer to left over pumpkin: Place in freezer bags or containers (in quantities required for your favorite recipes) and freeze for up to 1 year. When you want to use the pumpkin, defrost it in the fridge for 24 hour before use.
