| Does my Mugzy have a Collapsed Trachea? I know that this subject has been brought up before, but I am really worried my baby has collapsed trachea. When he barks alot, or runs around alot, he gets this terrible cough. I've always been so careful with no collars, only harnesses. He was a year old in December, and if he has this at such a young age, won't that affect his life expectancy??? I'm terrified to take him to the vet, that she'll tell me something I don't want to hear. He only weighs about 5 pounds, he's such a peanut, but not overweight at this point. At first we thought it was asthma! When he gets excited, we tell him to stop acting up or you'll have an asthma attack! Can everyone give me any good news about this? |

| I'm no expert but sounds like it is a possibility that it's collapsing trachea. I would have the vet check him out for you... |

| Does a vet just do an exam to see if a dig has it? Fritzel makes weird coughing sounds once in a while when he is excited.
