I'm terrified to take him to the vet, that she'll tell me something I don't want to hear. He only weighs about 5 pounds, he's such a peanut, but not overweight at this point. At first we thought it was asthma! When he gets excited, we tell him to stop acting up or you'll have an asthma attack! Can everyone give me any good news about this?
ask you vet to do xrays. It's maybe 100.00. I would highly recommend that if he is coughing a lot. there are med's that can control that. I have a post on her with my little one and her ct problem. unfortunately if it is collapsing trachea there is not good news. My little one is on an inhaler 2 x's a day and we are very careful with her as far as limiting excitement, guests, excessive playing, no walks anymore and our vet visits have to be super quick because my dog turns blue (tongue) literally when she gets too excited. Bath time..also makes me nervous. Don't want to alarm you in any way but i would definitely suggest xrays. there is also someone that has a posting of a trachea collapse video somewhere on here. Xrays will help you. It could just be something as simple as allergies.
