| is she depressed? we adopted a 3yr old female about 1 1/2 weeks ago. We have gotten her to eat more than usual and she goes potty and runs behind us when we go throughtout the house. but she just doesnt act happy. her last mommy gave her up and she was excited and happy and energetic at her house, with us all she does is curl up on the bed and sleep. we cuddle her, take her with us, try to play with her, she has 2 other dog friends, but she just seems depressed. I dont know what to do. any suggestions? |

| This is so sad. Any way you can contact her last mommy and see what she would suggest? Also, she might need more time, maybe you can get familiar with each other by going for walks, just the two of you? Hope she feels happy soon!

| Just give her more time, we adopted a rescue Pomeranian back in August he was estimated to be 3-5 yrs old, and it took him approx 4-6 weeks before you could really see he was comfortable with us. Around the 4 week period he really just seemed sad, we showed him lots of love, and after a week or two he came around. He now knows he is part of the family and going nowhere! Your little girl just needs time & lots of love, to know she is safe and one of the family. Desiree Willy- yorkie Leo- pomeranian |

| thanks thanks for your suggestions. I sure hope she comes around soon, we just lover her so much and she just seems so depressed. I love the idea of walking her by herself, we usually go as a group, but by herself probably would make her feel special. Thanks everyone. |
