				   | I am very worried. This past weekend my babies were home alone at night and my girl is a jumper and she managed to get on to the dinner table and find a big chunk of chicken with bones and all... I must say she had a very nice feast. The only problem is that she ate bones and everything, including the string that holds the chickens legs together. I am not sure if my little boy also ate the chicken because he is very tiny and his body is not as capable reaching such heights. Later that evening when we came back she was not feeling well and she was vomiting and getting rid of anything she may have ingested. He on the other hand was doing very nicely up until 3 days after the event that he started to show signs of vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and energy. We could not bare the thought that he was so different in every aspect that I rushed home and we took him to the vet. Upon questions and concerns that we were experiencing the vet seemed very detached, cold and somewhat harsh. She came out with a 600 dollar bill and told us that the little may have to go to the ER tonight. They saw black stool, which shows signs of internal bleeding, she said that he may have a kidney problem, and that they have to place him on IV fluids.... I am so scarred and I am now worried that my my little 3.7lbs baby is not going to make it through this. Can someone please tell me if this has ever happened and if so what was your outcome? I just want him to be healthy and I am worried but yet hopeful that this vet from a previous experience and her distant attitude may just be more concerned about her managing numbers more than the actual health of my child..... | I just spoke with the vet and a different doctor began handling the situation. I was told by the doctor that Sparkie is doing much better, he just had a severe case of dehydration and some IV fluids should be enough to hold him over. Hopefully this is all he needs and we can all come home again worry free. Updates later as to what may have caused this..... |

				   | Just read your second post and Im so glad to hear that your baby is doing a little better. Also glad to hear that another vet is treating him. Its important to have a vet that you can trust. And with someone as harsh as the previous vet, I can see why you had additional concerns... Please keep us posted Sending prayers for your little guy and a quick recovery...

				   | I am so glad a second vet was available. Praying Sparkie improves quick. And that both furbabies keep out of trouble.
