| irritated eye =( something is wrong w/ stanley's eye. it looks really irritated and is tearing up more than usual. it has also shrunken and looks a lot smaller than his other eye. are we allowed to use human eye drops for dogs? or would it be best to wait and take him to the vet. I feel so bad =(

| Aww I'm sorry i have no advice for you and Stanley. As we have never dealt with any eye problems before. I hope Stanley gets to feeling better real soon. |

| I wouldn't use human eye drops. Try applying warm compresses on it. If it doesn't help I'd take him to the vet.

| He could have something in it. Try flushing it thoroughly with water. It is OK to use human eye drops as long as they are strictly artificial tears (no antibiotics or steroid drops) and you do NOT use Visine! All they are is a saline solution. (Humans shouldn't even use those! ) If it isn't better in a day or so, then I would take him to the vet. |
