My oldest daughter came to me very hysterical crying telling me that she a video about torturing dogs & cats, kittens & puppies. I asked her to calm down and show me what she was talking about. I asked her to leave the room because she was becoming upset all over again. it was the most horrific thing I ever saw! :eek: My God! please God help these poor animals, no one or animal should have to live a life like this or end like this!
PLEASE CAUTION WHEN WATCHING THIS!!!!!!!!!! NO SMALL CHILDREN SHOULD WATCH THIS... SOMETHING HAS BE DONE TO STOP THIS!!!!! WHAT CAN WE DO?!!!!!! MY HEART IS CRYING IN PAIN & WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN??!!!!! PLEASE GOD, HELP THEM, HELP THEM!!!!

I know that it is already on the internet so by you posting it here you really didnt do anything wrong but my advice wold be to all you YT members...dont watch it its really really sad and graphic. :( i couldnt watch it all

This is so disturbing, disgusting and extremely sad!!:cry: If only we could do to those humans what they are doing to these innocent animals. The video appears to be maybe from Peta. You may be able to contact them to find out where this is happening. It looks like they are using their fur, maybe China?

The fur industry is discusting! Dogs and cats get used for fur too, although it is supposed to be illegal to sell them in the US...it's sick

Has anyone watched it yet? I don't know if I can do it, bc it'll be all I can think about for days and weeks. Is there any info on where it is from? Did you send it to ASPCA and PETA?

DEAR GOD - I only got thru a few seconds and flashed back to 2 years when I saw that one for the 1st time & was physically sick. Especially over that poor german Sheperd..........:( :( :( I cried for days...my husband had banned me from watching things like that it was so bad - Unless you want to HELP those poor animals in China - dont watch it - it's HORRIFIC

and it happens every single day. :(

I won't watch it...I don't think I could take it. But, I will pray for the animals.

most of the footage is from a documentary about PETA that i have seen before. It is absolutely discusting and disturbing but i do thank you for posting it. i think people NEED to see this kind of stuff. we can all sit back and not watch and pretend this isnt happening all over the world, but it is. and to the person that said we likely dont sell dog and cat fur in north america...if we import the fur from other places in the world, there is not really any way for us to know what is cat, dog, mink, fox etc. DNA testing is the only way to find out for sure and that is costly. too bad most companies only care about making money!!! PLEASE be ware even if you think the trim on your jacket is FAUX FUR, since for some companies it is cheaper to use cat instead and they sell it as faux!!!!

i think anyone who is thinking about buying any sort of fur should watch this video IN FULL. the end is the most disturbing and i think would stop anyone from considering fur!!! think about it, even if it isnt a dog or a cat that is in your coat, there is an animal, and some innocent creature had to go through what the animals in the video are going through!!! no animal, human or not, deserves this fate.

I can't bring myself to watch it, because I know how upset I will get. People can be beyond cruel and it breaks my heart. It's scary to know that there are people out in this world who can act so terribly and sleep soundly at night.:mad:

This video has been around for a long time. I DO think people should know what happens - but as I said in my earlier post - unless someone is going to really help - donate - or whatever - I don't advise watching that one - it's really the most graphic one I've ever seen and I'll never watch it again.:(

It's on the net and very easy accessible - even for kids. I'm glad it's on Utube now but I also know it's going to give alot of people nightmares. What happens in other countries is sickening - but there just isn't much we can do - the fur trade is THRIVING - especially now that those JERK celebrities are still wearing fur - making it 'cool' - ( I saw on the news Fur is making a comback in Hollywood and wanted to kick my tv)

but we need to concentrate on what goes on in OUR country too - we have alot of cruelty and abuse right here.

I can't watch it but I understand you wanting to post it and how upsetting it must be. This reminds me isn't Monday the day that Michael Vick gets his sentence for what he and friends did to helpless animals.:(

there may not be much we can do, but even being aware of it helps. i never really thought about it deeply before i saw all of this footage. i knew i would never buy fur, but after i saw this footage i have made it a point to try to talk anyone i know out of buying fur and again, IT ISNT JUST FUR COATS!! i found anoter very recent article about the selling of "faux fur" in the USA that is actually dog and cat!!

knowledge is power. i have , and will continue to have nighmares about this footage, but it is a small price to pay for me to be aware of what is going on, not contribute to the problem, and try to convince others of the same! if i convince one of my friends not to buy something fur, it will be worth it for me. if each of us convinces one of our friends, it will make a huge impact on the fur industry and could help save some animals lives. ignorance is bliss, but knowledge can make a difference.

I started watching the video but could only watch a few seconds of it. It just seemed to be getting worse and worse and I could watch no more. It is so disturbing that those precious little animals have to endure such treatment. If they are dying just so people can have fur collars and fur coats, etc. it is so unfair. We should all refuse to buy anything thing with fur...real or fake.

I have many posts right on this site about the fur industry and cruelty to animals and totally agree - people NEED TO KNOW this happens - but some footage is just way too graphic for some - even though it does provide the shock value and gets people outraged - (you can search the site here - we have a TON of threads about the fur industry)

knowing people on this site - some may be seriously affected by that one - that's the only reason I said what I said - there's other avenues to see that aren't as disgusting and horrible as that video - like I said - it's the worst one I've ever seen and I've forced myself in the last 5 years to watch ALOT of them just so I can back up things I say.

I agree Villette it's the puppy mill owners that people keep buying pups from who are abusing dogs every minute of every day on an extremely large scale and that has to be stopped.

i understand that it is difficult for an animal lover to watch. i cry everytime i see this footage and i have seen it for years...i suppose if you cant bring yourself to watch it, just remember it is available. if you or anyone you know is thinking of buying fur, fake or not, PLEASE make them watch it though. it WILL change their mind...:(

There was a news thing recently talking about how "FAUX" fur actually contained traces of dog and other animal furs...
I couldn't watch the video because I just don't have the heart, but I know things like this are happening everyday. This is so sick :( I wish there was something we could do...How can people be so HEARTLESS!!

That I TOTALLY agree with - If I knew someone that wanted a fur coat - or fur lined anything - that video would be in their email so fast their head would spin - The China problem is one that's ongoing - but hopefully people here get the message -

the best thing is talk talk talk and tell everyone you know HOW Fur is made available to us & that it isn't just Mink and Chinchilla that are tortured - it's now DOGS AND CATS !

when we stop importing it - then the industry will hopefully die a fast death - but for now - people are STILL BUYING FUR and that sucks big time.

I can't watch it and I am in tears just reading this thread. No creature deserves what I can only imagine is on that video. I don't understand what is wrong with people that makes the almighty "Buck" so d***** important :( :mad: .

everyday i thank god, i have armani with me, i cant bear the thought of him going through something like this. I cant watch the video all the way it made me break, i know we cant save everyone, but how can people be so cruel? How?

The tears are running down my face as I write. I have seen this before. That is CHINA!!! The government could care less that this happens on a daily basis. There are no regulations on any of it. How do we get away from buying from China? Everything you pick up is made in China. Be careful of anytype of trim or fur on coats etc. Even toys. It sickens me down to my soul. I agree and why we have to import so much from there is just amazing - but it's the almighty DOLLAR we're fighting here - from toys to food to the disgusting cruel fur trade (among other things) - its mind boggling.

The basic truth is - The people in power just plain don't CARE.

Jesus Christ....I can't watch that. A while ago I saw a video of the dogs in the fur industry....oh I can still picture a shepard dog....he was being tortured and he looked up at the person doing it...and the dog had the most loving look in his eyes. I almost died. I don't understand how people can be so mean to animals....oh God...its just sick.
