sorry i cant get myself to watch it, have a pretty good idea....:cry: i saw something on HBO last week where i quickly had to change the chanel....cant even imaging any human being doing things like that.....

I cant watch it. I watched one from Peta before and it made me physically sick

that footage in the video is from the peta animal cruelty messages. I've seen them before. The dog and cat footage is from the one letting people know THAT is what hey send the US in their fur coats. The other one is from a video of how they skin and torture the animals while they are still alive. These people have no heart and they do not care. It really really is a sick then. I do not buy or wear fur and i like to inform as many people as i can about it. Most people don't care. THey see it as already being done so what's the harm in wearing it. :mad: makes me so mad.

I can not watch it, I will be thinking about it constanly, I can tell from everyone eles thats it very :( God bless these poor animals:(

I watched it. I thought it wont be too bad(didnt read more post first) and I literaly threw up. Those babies lived through that. Im never going to look at my babies the same agian. Im soo disgusted and heart broke I WILL have nightmares from this. I am forever changed from watching this, never having any kind of fur(real or fake) on anything agian.

I dont get sick very easy!! but that was really sick at this and i had to turn my head away!!! i didnt even get to the middle of it! i was in tears!!!

that poor german shepard that is soo sad and thats as far as i got! Its to sad to know this actually happens!

i just made my mom watch the whole thing and i cried again. she watched the whole thing but was cringing the whole time!!!

SO sad. I hate that about SE Asia. They don't consider dogs and cats as a member of the family, they are like livestock to a lot of that region. (not all of SE Asia, but a good portion). I feel so badly for these animals!

That video is very disturbing. I watched part of it a year or so ago. I was physically ill and had terrible nightmares. It is a tragedy that people are not educated about animal treatment and where the trim on their designer clothes and purses is from. I say a prayer to stop animal cruelty worldwide everyday.

i dont believe livestock deserve that fate any more than a dog or cat. NO living animal should be treated the way these animals were in the film.

I agree 100% :thumbup: But, having been to that part of the world myself, it is truly a sad state. They have no respect for the animals, and as said before they are uneducated on humanity and treating things with some dignity. (Forgive me if this makes no sense as I have been up all day and it is now 430am here).

I didn't watch it but I looked up some things online. Did you know that this "fur" can be on fur coats and dog toys? There is a loophole in the US law that some are trying to change. It is legal for it to be sold in the US right now. Quite a few items are also mislabeled and anytime you see "faux fur", it very well could be from dogs and cats. I am about to look up the polyester in Hide a Squirrel because I am suspicious.

Please be careful about donating to Peta. They expose a lot of things that need to be but there may be some bad things going on there. Sometimes animal rights organizations believe that humans and animals should never meet (meaning we couldn't have Yorkies). This could be one of Peta's long term goals. I really don't know.

It is one of their goals. If Peta had their way there would be no breeders

peta do a very good job and yes they would like breeding stopped but if you ask anyone who works in a rescue centre they will say the same as there the ones who have to go to the cages, pick a dog hold it and look it in the eyes while its killed cos no one wants it.
most people who have to deal with that day after day would feel angry towards breeders as they think if breeding was stopped then people would have to go to a rescue if they wanted a dog and then thats one life saved.
im a member of a dog forum where a lot of rescues feel this way but have said after the numbers go down in rescues then they would be fine about breeding starting again for controled breeders not just anyone.
and to make it law that you have to have your dog or bitch seen to so no more unwanted litters.
ive had yorkies off of breeders before and ive a rescue yorkie now but i cant say that in the furture that i wont get another from a breeder but then im not the one who has to choose who lives and dies and look that dog in the eyes.
if i couldnt get one from a breeder then i would have to go to a rescue centre and thats how peta feel.

I didn't know if I should watch it or not....things like this really get to me. I never really knew what went on so I thought with me watching it I could help by educating those that don't know. I felt sick the whole time it was playing. How could anyone in their right mind do this? China won't change, they could care less about their people, let alone the animals. It's really sad. :( My SIL has a long fur coat that they paid a buttload for. I think it\'s hideous and tacky. I always have. She loves animals, though with her being 12 I don\'t think she should watch this video. I need to tell my inlaws to quit buying her stupid crap like that. :mad:

I can\'t even finish watching it. That is just so horrible. I think that they eat dogs in those countries.

I couldn\'t watch it but it still hurts to know that animals are being hurt this way...I really can\'t even say the words it just is too horrible. I was thinking of buying a faux fur coat......I will definately NOT now...and thank you for mentioning about faux fur. I really wish and pray these horrors are stopped.

OMG I got exactly 1 minute into it and stopped it. I can\'t look at stuff like that. My heart has been won over by too many furry creatures in my life to allow me to. :(
