| Tika is so cute! She almost reminds me of a Brussels Griffon with out the dark hair around the mouth! What a cutie!

| Bless your heart Jamie. You made Annie's life better for the short time you had her. She finally knew what real love is and she will carry that with her over the rainbow bridge. I know it hurts to lose her so soon after she grabbed your heart. But G-d and Annie were looking down on you when Tika came along. And Tika is blessed to have you and Hannah as roommates. yep, that is what you all are roommates. Sharing life and love. This is going to be a great new year for everyone in your home. You are a saint. I admire you. Wish there were more people like you. And , yhes, Tika is quite the athlete.

| Now I'm on a search for a second Yorkie as Tika needs a companion. I want to take in another rescue and would love to hear any and all leads of Yorkies of any age or sex looking for a forever home. Tika had spent the first four years of her life with her brother and apparently they were best pals. When the two dogs were seized from the abusive home he was adopted from the humane society right away and separately from her. She must miss him terribly. During the rare occasions that we leave Tika at home alone, she cries like a baby and makes a lonely howling, screaming sound. It's so loud (and so heartbreaking) that you can hear it from outside our house when the windows are shut. Our neighbours must think our home is a torture chamber for her by hearing the awful crying and howling she makes. LOL Tika needs a tiny companion around her own size (6 lbs). She loves cats and other small dogs. I have spent endless hours going through www.petfinder.com and various rescue groups and have applied to adopt a number of Yorkies. I am always rejected for one of the following reasons: * I have a 6-year-old daughter * I live outside the U.S. * They do not ship their dogs I am starting to believe that our family's perfect Yorkie rescue will probably be a privately owned dog with owners looking to rehome the dog. |

| I missed most of Annie's Story. I am weeping quietly as a type trying to imagine the special bond the two of you shared. It looks like Annie was sent to you for a reason and You were given to Annie for a reason. You gave her love when she most needed it and she restored and renewed your love of dogs. I am so happy for both of you. Tika is a darling little girl. I hope and pray that she will soon have a playmate. And as to the Angel who donated in your name -- well you are awesome! |

| It's really strange, but today my little Tika was in for surgery to extract six of her teeth (poor little thing). As I was waiting to pick her up (and beaming with gratitude to the people who were kind enough to make me a donating member) I was driving around and that song I used to make the video for Annie came on the radio. I started to cry and the pain came back to me. Then I went and picked up my little girl from the vet and felt better. She's such a funny little peanut. Even though she was still groggy from the surgery she was so excited and jumping around like a puppy. I can't wait until we find our next Yorkie - who will be a badly needed companion for Tika.

| It is a shame Tika had to lose some teeth at her young age. She is a survivor and sure to cope... My 'Rosie' has lost a few, she turns 12 in May so is getting older these days .. My sis in law's dog ( Chauntey) is very old and has lost all of her teeth her tounge just hangs out ,,,,lol,,, ..We all love her teeth or no teeth ,,,lol,,,

Tika has a little overbite and I'm not sure if you can see in the video, but now her little overbite only consists of a couple teeth - which gives her a funny, character look. Here's a video I just took of her still groggy from anesthesia ...
