| Sorry for the delay in updating. I'm still recuperating myself. Everything went really great, the 1 hour appt turned into 4 hours! He did applied kinesiology to determine what her body needed and wasn't getting. That was what took 4 hours because she needed so much. He also did some bloodwork. The results of the bloodwork were pretty good although her BUN was a bit high at 37. The applied kinesiology showed that the neurological problems she is having is most likely due to toxins from the liver not working as it should rather than the hydrocephalus which is actually very good news as there is not much that can be done for the hydrocephalus. He put her on 21 different supplements and I will be slowly switching her to a raw diet with things like cod, ground turkey, and ground beef. I will also give her eggs, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, apples, bananas, spinach, and squash. Everything has to be organic. After 3 weeks we will redo the BAT. I am also going to continue the lactulose and buscar. She is doing good today and acting more like a normal dog should. She has been sleeping this morning (she never sleeps more than 1-2 hours so this is different). She has also been rolling all over the the floor and wanting to play with Bailey which she has never done before. She did cry some this morning but all in all, I am very optimistic!

| I am so happy that things are working out. It sounds like you have a great doctor that really knows what he is doing. Keep up the good work.

| I am having problems getting her to take the supplements so I would love it if anyone had any ideas. They have a strong smell and she won't eat if I put them in her food or yogurt. I am currently putting them in a syringe with water but it is hard to get down her because of the amount. I would prefer mixing them with something she would take voluntarily.

| Iam so glad to hear that she is doing a little better. Are you??? Could she maybe have her supplements in a little peanut butter. That always works with Murfee.

| Have you tried putting it in cheese? Sometimes that works. I would think that yogurt would be best but I guess that you have already tried that. Good luck with finding the solution.

| Peanut butter is too high in protein, even in small amounts for liver compromised dogs. Be careful what you use to sneak the supplements in ![]() I usually mix up the supplements in Miko's food, but with a strong smell, I don't know how that would go over...
