| ![]() Hi! This is my first post so bear with me. I have a two year old yorkiepoo. Her name is Madison and she has always been very healthy. Lately all she does is sleep. She is maybe awake 1 - 2 hours a day at most. Now the last 2 days she hasn't eaten much at all. Do you think this is normal or could there be something wrong? This board is the Best source of information. I have been reading it since before we got our baby. Thanks to everyone on here for all the wonderful information!! |

| ![]() Welcome to YorkieTalk. I would most definately take her to the vet. That is not normal. In fact, my six-year-old Yorkie is up a lot more than that as long as she isn't bored. I would be concerned.

| ![]() I would be concerned with the lack of appetite and lethargic behavior. I think those are both signs to take her to the vet. Good luck and let us know how she's doing~ |

| ![]() Madison is going to the doctor today. When I called them they said they had been seeing a lot of sick babies lately. I think I worry about her as much as I did my daughter when she was young. Isn't that terrible ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Madison went to the vet late Friday afternoon. He checked her all out and took a urine sample. He said she looked fine. Her temperature was normal and her heart sounded good. She did throw up again yesterday but maybe I'm just paranoid. My daughter went away to college this fall and Madison has really missed her. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I know the depressed animal thing. ![]() My daughter will be home Friday night (YEAH) - perhaps yours too soon for the Thanksgiving break - it will be interesting to see if your furbaby improves once she comes home. Did you talk with the vet about depression? Is there a possibility that she is allergic to her food? Have you changed something lately? I know my cat had food problems, throwing up, but finding a food without a lot of grains has totally changed things for her.

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | ![]() i would take her to the vet...it could all sorts of things... i once sold a Maltese puppy to this girl...and after a few months she called me with concerns about the puppy behavior...the puppy would do anything and would just sleep and so forth... turns out the puppy had ate some rat poison...and was lucky to have made it.... so go to the vet and find out what is wrong...
