| Help!! hey, my puppy was biting a soft toy last night where i realized that there were blood on the soft toy. Just now, it went under the sofa and came out too fast knocking his head and then we discovered him having something hard biting in his mouth. Then he threw out a tooth and then after another one. So two teeth came out, not sure if its changing teeth or he broke his teeth after knocking head?? HELP!! |

| Losing baby teeth is very normal and so is a little bleeding with that. Perfectly normal, don't worry. Remember that every baby tooth that comes out naturally is one less you have to worry about the vet removing later. The first couple of weeks we had Gizmo, he bumped his head on furniture and the hearth of the fireplace a couple of times. That's pretty normal as well. Just watch him carefully. Welcome to YT!

my pup Prince is 5months old plus, but it is right after he knock his head that the teeth came out, so we are worried whether it is because of the knocking that caused the improper dropping of the teeth? as the attachment i see, one of the tooth did not came out fully with the root.. is this normal as well? Will this affect the future growth of the teeth or abnormal growth?? | |

| If you are really concerned, have a vet take a look, but I think they look normal. Just different types of teeth. The root doesn't really have to "come out". The way I understand it, baby teeth don't have much of a root anymore by the time they come out. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all is well. Does he appear to be upset or in pain at all? If not, then I wouldn't worry about it.
