| Try and talk to the vet and not the guy who answered. I honestly don't know and don't want to steer you wrong. Only you know her behavior so it's hard for me to say. Initially since it's been so long I'd like to say I think she'll be ok, but I don't want that resonsibility if you know what I mean. If something happened I'd feel horrible.

| I think the hyperactivity is from the caffeine and sugar rush...just watch her, she probably won't be sleeping much tonight...sorry.

| Bailey accidentally ate a reeses peanut butter cup one night last year. My grandma was opening the packaging and the cup flipped onto the floor. Bailey is so funny b/c if you drop food on the he will race to get it and then run away with it (so you have to be quicker and careful)... but if I try to give him something, he acts as if I'm poisoning him...lol... Anyway, he was just fine. He threw up one time and had diarrhea once (with a few loose stools to follow). Bailey also has a very weak tummy and is on special ID food (from the vet). I would just watch her closely and make sure she's staying hydrated with water. If she is still throwing up within the next hour, I would take her in. Good luck and my thoughts will be with you. |

| Oh I am just reading this now, hope baby chanel is ok now.. I have always given peroxide if for some reason a dog has gotten something they should not have.. I had a rescue that was on nerve pills and a baby that was quicker, my sister ended up letting the wrong one have the nerve pill, he was so tiny also.. I called the vet right away and that is what I was told to do..it worked, I was nervous..but once he got sick he was ok.. Please let us know how she is doing..she will be on my mind tonight now.. thoughts are with your at this time.. pooh's mum |

| Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Diggy ate chocolate before and quite a bit more than chanel did so I really think your fine. Darker chocolate is a lot more toxic than say milk chocolate or a tootsie roll. If this ever happens again give a 1/2 tbsp of peroxide and induce vomiting but thats only if you catch it in the first 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after that its too late but if she vomitted on her own thats just her bodys way of getting rid of what her body is not accepting. Im glad she was sleeping and is better now

| She is doing well. She seemed uncomfortable last night.I tried to keep her right next to me.I figured if she got seizures I could feel it and realize. She didnt want any part of that. She wanted to sleep at the foot of my bed.I then put her in her little crate that is right next to me.Its like her crate is my nightstand. She seemed fine after that.Today she has had no diarhea or vomiting. She realy hasnt eaten much though but that is usually the case with her.Thank you guys so much for keeping her in your prayers.Im sure god was listening because My baby is ok today. If there are any changes I will let you know. |
