RoxyJo - Roxy was the brand of shirt my dtr was wearing when we picked her up and Jo is after my dh(Joe) who had just passed away. We got her to help fill the void left in our lives when we lost him. Remi - Remington's Li'l Silver Bullet - Remi's daddy's name is Winchester and his mommy's name is Li'l Silver Bells(Bella). There are other similar names in his pedigree that I really liked, especially Renagade(the famous Gator) but I couldn't use it so I went with Remington. Since I love Bob Seager and Coors Light --- Silver Bullet just seemed to fit:p . (I also loved the show Remington Steele). |

I am very sensitive to my father as he passed in 1992 small cell carcinoma cancer and so everything I do I relate to my daddy in some shape form or fashion... The painting of BLUE BOY hung above our couch for many years as a fine piece of art. It was my dad's very favorite piece of art . I have attatched a picture for your enjoyment. Yes - I named Deegan after a Freestyle Motocross rider (Brian Deegan), because my boyfriend is obsessed with mx, and since I just kinda brought him home unexpectedly I thought this would help ease him into my bf's heart. lol Mission accomplished, but I think it was based more his cuteness, than his name! lol |

Yup... Ok this maybe confusing. Kikyo is named after a character that is from my favorite Japanese manga and anime series ...Inyuasha! That was created by a WOMAN!! (Hard to come by)The contrast of the character as it relates to the meaning of the name just makes one appreciate it more. Also, we decided on the name for it's meaning in Japanese to be one of the 7 principles of the Ying/Yang--"Unchanging Love";which is how my husband and I feel about one another-- and in Chinese it is the purple bellflower you see in profile as the background, which we feel is beautiful as is she. |

Let's see... I named Trixie after one of the pound dogs from Lady and the Tramp. Part of Lexi's reg name is 'Alexander Running' after former UofA player Shaun Alexander. Sir Kasey Diddimus was a combo name after Kasey Kahne and the Yorkie knight puppet Sir Diddimus from the movie Labrynth. And our hound Flash Gordy was named after Flash in The Dukes of Hazzard and Jeff Gordon. |

hmmm Guess who Starsky was named after? We got Starsky in Hutchenson Kansas there for the name Starsky. We don't have a Hutch though. My daughter name Shylah. She went on the internet looking for names and found out it means "Goddess of Strength" We figured it was cute for a little dog and the only female. |
