McGuinness is named for...well...Guinness. He was dark with a white head when we got him and he really looked like a pint! The "Mc" was tacked on because his big brother (Affenpincer) is named McSquizzy. |

Jackson was named originally after the Johnny Cash song "Jackson". My aunt then suggested his middle name could be "Five" aka Jackson Five, and always being a fan of Michael, the name just fit. :) |

My Male Sneakers... WOW, when I first saw him, I thought he was the cutest little guy I'd ever seen ! And by the second day (out in the yard) he started "stalking" the Squirrels. JUST like a Cat would. Head/vision fixed on one, careful slow steps and moving forward like he was on a Rail ! Sneaky... so, Sneakers. My Female Becca... Even as a puppy of 8 weeks, I could see her strength and beauty so clearly. I couldn't help but allow my mind to reflect on the stories I had read as a child, telling of this woman, a monument to faith and dedication to a Nation so suppressed. Rebbecca it was... and Becca she is. |
Yes. Copper is named after the dog in the Disney movie Fox and the Hound. I loved the puppy scene and the voices in the movie. "My name is Copper and I'm a hound dog. Ahhroooooroooo." Also, I wanted a "dog" name vs. a people name...so I borrowed. :) |

Poppets kc name is FireFly too; it was gonna be serenity, but there is Nothing serene about her!- just cuz i'm a bit of a whedon geek! every litter i raise is named after a tv series- this time its Charmed, so atm we have Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Prue, Billie, Coop and Leo! and kuki is after a chimp from the animal planet series monkey buisness/ monkey life, but i'm not sure if that counts either! |

Ozzy Osbourne. I don't particularly like the name and it doesn't suit him at all. Oz is the most docile, submissive, happy little guy. I would never look at him and associate him with a heavy metal singer. My b/f picked the name. I think he would suit something like Romeo, Sweety-Pie, BabyFace, or Roo. |
