| Layla eats Fromms... we switched from Blue Buffalo about 3 months ago.. so glad now that we did... Fromms uses whole foods... basically what human's eat... nothing is "chicken meal" or "gluten" just who ingredients like Duck and White Fish.. she loves it and so far i feel really good feeding it to her. They have a website that says they get their food deilvered daily/fresh from the US.. so i'm just keeping my fingers crosses that it stays a good food. I was thinking about home cooking but there are SO many different nutrients that she needs and i don't know where i'd get them from, and i figure the dog food people know better about this than i do. If the recall makes it way up one more level of food quality.. i'll probably restort to home cooking. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I've been feeding Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul, so I didn't have to switch and pray I don't have to! But you know what? I went today and got another 18 pound bag and they have increased the price by $4, since all this recall stuff. In the last 2 weeks!!!!! Hhmmm, they must have an idea people are switching over to them... |

| I was so scared about the recall! When I first heard about the recall, I was terrified! My baby, Pebbles was eating the Natural Choice stuff, I liked it a lot because it had no by-products but now Pebbles is eating rice and a little bit of baked chicken that I don't eat. She's spoiled I know.

| Colleen078, are you still feeding dog food or just homecooked? What kind of veggies and supplements do you give? My Yorkie, Ellie, also eats homecooked.

| Pebbles is eating Yes, she is still eating chicken, rice and cooked carrots now. She bloats a lot while she's in heat, so I'm trying not to give her anything with a lot of salt in it. She is so spoiled compared to my child-hood Miniature Pinscher, Bam-Bam, who ate canned Alpo dog food and not much else unless we had Brussel Sprouts for dinner, but he didn't like them either...LOL!
