| ![]() Frontline. Used it on our Rottweiler for years and my cat...no problems-ever. I originally purchased it for my Bengal cat. You MUST be careful on how much you use....could cause seizures.......on a small yorkie. I used it last week on Olivia (my 5lbs. Yorkie) and the new fleas were gone asap...along w/ two baths this week...but her skin is so dry and she is scratching like crazy........her hair above tail is almost bald now.........I have put baby lotion on her and am keeping her as lubricated as possible. I also gave her a tiny bit of cooked Salmon because of the Omega 3 fatty acids for their coat and skin. She is much better today. I plan on purchasing the new Eukanuba Yorkie food too! Hope this helps. Great Luck!

| ![]() I use Revolution on my dogs, I've been using it on them for years and haven't had fleas or ticks for years. I did have my cocker on Advantage for awhile but the smell of the medicine made me really sick so I switched her to revolution too. I like all 3 flea and tick medicines though,(advantage, revolution, frontline), they are all great. A word of advice, I don't not recommend Hartz flea and tick products. Some dogs do alright with them but I have seen way too many dogs and cats come in to the clinic having a severe reaction from the Hartz flea and tick medicine. There has been so many incindents of this happening, I don't know why the company is still allowed to sell their products knowing they are dangerous and why they aren't shut down yet.

| ![]() When you're talking about this preventive medicine. Are you talking about spray or pills or both? If it's spray or pills, which one do you prefer? which one is health wise better for the dogs? I've been using the Frontline spray once a month, but the smell of it is terrible. He is flee and thick free though. What do you suggest? Thanks, |

| ![]() I just started using the frontline spray a couple months ago as a breeder recommended it to me. She said it is much cheaper for a multi-dog household. So far we haven't had any ticks or fleas but we'll see as the weather warms up. We have lots of ticks in the area where I walk my dogs so I will know soon if it is going to work for us. |

| ![]() Sydney spends very little time outside. I don't believe in filling our pets up with chemicals, including over vaccinating and heartworm medication. We spray him with an all natural repellant when we take him out. |

No Longer a Member | ![]() We use Adam's Flea and Tick Shampoo. Works great for Gizmo and leaves a residual to protect til his next bath. I keep the spray on hand just in case. In Texas I swear the fleas here are mutants and I have found this stuff to be good. It's 10 dollars a bottle but very concentrated and last a long time. |

| ![]() I use to use Frontline but Kitty had a reaction to it. I now use K-9 Advantix and I am not that pleased with it. I still have ticks and fleas from time to time.

| ![]() We use Frontline Plus; it seems to be the best (for us) in controlling ticks. We have a wooded area behind our fence; so we have more problems with ticks than fleas.

| ![]() I love using Sentinel because I can't stand the smell of any of the topical flea meds. I also use MinkSheen shampoo which has essential oils that naturally repel fleas and ticks and it helps that my girls only go outside to potty.

| ![]() I used Frontline/ Frontline Plus for years, but I got fed up with it. Yes it works to prevent flea infestations, but it allows the ticks/fleas to get on our babies and bite them before it works and kills them. Then where do the dead ones go?? Wherever our babies are-in our beds, cars, furniture, our lap, etc..... I use a pesticide-free spray that REPELS ticks/fleas/mosquitos/gnats/flies/bees/hornets/wasps. I find it works much better than the topical chemicals. It also has a sunscreen in it. Missy |

| ![]() I use Advantage last year. It was okay except for the fact that Siu Pao had worms eventhough he was on it, maybe it was from him eating poop ![]()
