Since you live in Texas, I'm going to tell you to not get the red vehicle. After just a couple of years, your once vibrant, beautiful red will have a faded look to it. Red cars just do NOT keep well in Texas.

I voted for the white. While the Blue is a nice color, I think that Cougars look better in white. JMO

That is true but if you know it, wouldn't you become a more careful driver?

My vote went for the white

One of my best friends has a Cougar...looks exactly like the ones in the pics you posted (his has a spoiler) and yep, you guessed it! It's white

This is SOOO true!!! Not to offend anyone that owns a red car, LOL but I would NEVER own one! They just fade too much in the sun - ESPECIALLY if you live in Texas!

I have a red Jaguar and love it. Red is definitly an attetion getter, mine hasn't faded but it gets waxed and professionaly cleaned monthly and I get a gloss coat put over it once a year so if you do go with Red and want to keep it looking vibrant you could try that. There' just something about a hot red car that I love, to me it is timeless and suits my personality. I say go with red

I have a red car and I've only been pulled over once for speeding so far (knock on wood). I also invested in a radar detector though.

I know I LOVE RED..but it does fade and well I do live in Texas.. I had a REd Jeep Grand Cherokee awhile back and it was red... AWESOME!! Boy would I turn heads...lol

but I have never had white... I am really torn between
Rio Red, White and The Sapphire Blue...lol aHHHH!~~~

I would generally say white, but that car looks best in red to me. Plus, red is just so classy! If you're worried about tickets, get a radar detector.

I don't live in Texas, and I only keep my cars for 3 years ... so if it fades, I won't know ...

I did have a really nice blue car back in 1989 and kept it for 5 years and the top started looking like it had snow on the top all the time .... but I think thatz a factory defect ..... it was the only time it ever happened to me ...
then I had green; this time I got red b/c I had had blue for the last 2 cars and that was the only color that pleased me ... the black was dismal, I didn't care for the white, silver, beige ones. I had had a green one 3 cars back ... so 2009 I shall change to blue again .... I think I even paid extra for this red one ... b/c itz pearlized <?>

white or red, but im leaning towards white, and tel me about the gas i have a tahoe and my husband has a 4x4 silverado, uhhh we fill up every week and then we have the littel cavalier that i cant part with it was my first car i bought myself, and onetanklast like 2 weeks 3 weeks driving everyday, but i lovee my tahoe, i love it
but my hubbys truck is red and i hate it, its not like a darker red it just red, blood red, i hate it but he loves it, red is nice but not on huge trucks
