She's right...it is different in England. Most pet shops are owned by small business owners and they are more than willing to help you out with advice and what not. I'm from America (been in England for 6 1/2 years) and over there its more of a pet supermarket...like a huge shopping center. It all seems very detached from the actual care of the animals. Most big places are like that though, lets face it they just really want to make money. |
I always like looking around in Petsmart,, Petco,etc..where animals arent sold,, and i'd prefer reptiles werent sold, but I just avoid that part of the store,,,but love to go looking,, and having a place i can take my dog with me to get out and sometimes buy an item or 2,,but if you mean the "petstores" selling puppies and kittens, NO,,avoid em like the plague!!:animal-pa |
I used to like petshops but when I had a bad experience with a petshop in huntington beach, I hate them all:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: I am very sorry but this is how I feel inside a petstore. I buy food from petstore tho.:D without dogs or pups in sight. |
