Really? I have nothing to compare it to. There's only one school in town. They just raised the rate from $80 to $90 for an eight-week course, 45 minutes a week. It's all volunteer, so I can't really complain.

So where did the $500 come in.

I go through our local kennel club. $4 a week for an hour for non members. Last night I was voted in as a member, so now it will be $3 a week. The membership fee is $20 a year. So I figured it was worth it.

It is a really good price and the instructor is a member of the club. I don't know if he has a degree in obedience training, but he is a judge for obedience competition.

But most of the others are $10 a week.

Wow, $3 a week, that's gotta be cheap! The $500 was total. I've been to 6 classes at $90 each, so that's $540 since I started. Or so.

Roxy will always come when called unnnnllleeesss she is busy digging up cat poo to snack on in the back yard or after a squirrel up the tree. Then I have to distract her. Sometimes the cats will come when I call them, but if not, she is very good at going out and rounding them up and bringing them inside. If I have to chase her to see what she has in her mouth, she will stop if I say STAY. I am so proud of her. For the most part, she obeys very well. If we only had such good luck with the potty training. She goes in streaks with that.
