| They can swim, you just need to be careful with the amount of hair that they have. I heard of a little on with a large amount of hair that drown because it went in the pool and the owner wasn't home. I guess the hair can get heavy and weigh them down. |

| My Biewer is just five months old and jumps in the pool whenever he gets the chance. All my Yorkies swam in the lake when I lived in Michigan but one is too old for the pool and the others don't like the chlorine. The chlorine does dry out their coats a bit. DJ |
