I would though, like to know if you don't use the following dog brands above, what other dog food brand does everybody use?

Great thread but I was wondering if anyone knows which brand is the best as far as ingredients and weight loss? I have tried a vet prescribed, which did nothing for her weight loss. She has been on a couple of other weight management from the pet stores and again they didn't really do much for her weight. Now she is on wellness lite and seems to be having a hard time with it. She feels heavier and seems to be vomiting bile from it. Someone also told me that it might be too rich for many yorkies. Any suggestions for a healthy and weight reduction brand would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

But, we have used Royal Canin and sometimes mix it in with his Nutro and we have also tried a few other Nutro foods - we can't get Innova or Merrick here, unless we order it online

none of the above,i have never seen any of those brands here in England. Mine have Hills Science Plan dry food with Iams chicken sauce. They also have caesar meat occasionally (not often as its mostly water content), Hi-Life and pedigree puppy complete.

Solid Gold Natural Balance Science TD weekly for teeth Bil-Jac All mixed together...feeding a variety of foods has shown to help prevent pancreatis...according to some vets..I have noticed my girls can eat any food, canine or human and not get upsets, so far!!! I used to be a nut about not changing or mixing foods.

Simon and Hallie are both eating Wellness right now. Every once in awhile I have to give Simon Prescription Science Diet for his tummy (the low I/D). I'm not really happy with Welness lately though so I'm thinking of switching to Nutro. Hallie will eat anything so I have to be careful with her weight. And Simon's tummy is so sensitive. But it's so hard having them on different food, I don't know how those of you with more than one feed different food. Please do tell......

Freyja was raised on Royal Canin and we continued that when we brought her home. But she has always been finicky. When she went to visit her yorkie poo "cousin", who eats Eukanuba, she gobbled up the other dog's food. So now she is on a combo of RC and Eukanuba and I will try to taper her off onto Eukanuba.
