Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Is your Yorkie a social animal? A woman at work has a gorgeous little girl Yorkie who is very skittish. Doesn't like being enclosed with Eddie or Jack, kind of slinks around me. Eddie and Jack, on the other hand, are social butterflies with people and dogs. I'm just wondering if others think their dogs are social or not. You can vote for more than one option if you have multiple dogs with different behaviors.

| My little girl is very social! When we are out she wants to greet everyone and gets upset if they don't say hi! She especially likes running after attractive male joggers! No. I didn't train her to do this! Honest! lol

| Sophie is very social with people and animals. We really tried to socialize her when she was a baby because the poodle we had before her didn't like anyone or anything outside of the family.

| Simon is TOO social. He would go with a complete stranger if they offered him a treat! I started taking him to daycare when he was a baby to socialize him and boy did I! He is the welcoming committee anywhere we go. Hallie is not social, she gets very frightened easily. Particularly of men but she is a million times better than when I first got her. And she isn't much of an "animal person" she doesn't like other animals in her space |
