| ![]() I think it is funny that the same type of breeds like different things! My dog Bosco hates water. He won't go outside when its raining and when we give him a bath he always looks so sad, he keeps his ears down like he's in trouble or something. However, he loves to run a round the house afterwords to dry himself off! He drives and rolls all over the place! I guess the breed doesn't say much though. My dog that died last year use to hate the water even more than Bosco and he was a Brittany Spaniel. They are supposed to be huntinng dogs that go after ducks in the water! One time he even ran away while we were giving him a bath outside during the summer. Boy could he run. We lived on a golf course and found him lying at the tee all soaped up. I'm sure the golfers thought it was a funny sight! |

| ![]() Funny thing this thread being posted. We took our boat out to the lake today and Mollie & Wyatt went with us. I only have 1 life jacket for them right now so I put it on Wyatt, Mollie has been on the boat before, she just lays under the steering wheel where is shaded so I wasn't concerned about her. I also have a very good place to attached their leashes too so they can't get into any trouble. That's what I thought. I was helping Ethan fix his pole and I heard a splash. Wyatt jumped in the lake. I got him out as quick as I could but, he seemed to enjoy it. It cooled him off pretty quickly. I couldn't believe it and me without the camera. That's normally the way it goes. Anyway, I put him in a couple of times after that when I noticed him getting really hot and yes they had access to fresh drinking water the whole time we were on the boat, with the leash attached to the life jacket and let him swim around a little. He seemed to really like it. When Mollie got really hot I first put her feet in the water then I let her go for a little swim. She didn't seem to like it as well as Wyatt did. So I voted no because I'm not sure how well they really liked it. I will let you guys now in a few weeks, we have one of those pools that rises as you put the water in, it's about 3 1/2 to 4 ft deep and 15 ft wide we are going to be putting it up soon. I can't wait it's really gotten hot here. Sorry for rambling.

| ![]() I'll see if she likes our pool this summer. So far she is hesitant to float on a floaty with me. |
