| Love And Affection I heard on the radio that over 50% of people give their pets more affection than their spouses or significant other. Do you fall under this 50% ?? !! ?? I have to admit, yes! I do have to be honest in saying that I give Schatzie more attention/love/affection than my spouse. And my spouse, Robert is my best friend in the world. Im guessing is it's just pets are different, ha haaaa. Luckily, Robert never complains when Im so lovey dovey over Schatzie, LOL!!

| Husband Jealous of Dog! My husband Eli often jokes that he is jealous of the attention I give Sully. HOWEVER — in my defense, Sully is always wanting my attention. My husband would be overwhelmed if I gave him this much attention, or expected him to always be at my beck and call, etc. My husband Eli may be jealous of the hours on end I spend with Sully, but I doubt Eli would enjoy it if I took him on walks and tried to teach him tricks, either. (But Eli would be awful cute if every time I cooked him dinner I made him balance it on his nose and "beg" first, haha!)

| Definately My Artie comes first! How true is that? I think my Husband Frank got me Artie as a my 41st Birthday present last year, just for that specific reason. I'm sure he did it so he wouldn't have to deal with my emotional needs? Every morning before we go to the Dog Park I freeze a bottle of spring water, so by the time we are done walking Artie has cold water to drink in the car and if it's a hot day I insist on the air conditioner to cool him off! Frank claims I spoil him and take better care of Artie than him. I know if Artie could talk he would ask for those things too! We got Abigail to keep both Artie & Frank busy.....so now I have more time to be on here! It all worked out in the end. |

| ok Il have to confess, I do give my Nemo far more attention than I do to my husband. I also dont' allow my hubby to play too much with him, since I feel only I can play with him properly without getting him hurt. |

| They get equal Maybe it's because we're still newlyweds but my husband can't have less attention than my Milo. Everyone in my family seems to get an even # of attention. (3 Kids) and (3 dogs). I try.

| Since I have no significant other and haven't since I've had my monkeys I don't know. But this poll did make me realize that I have not had a boyfriend in 2 years so I have no idea how Simon or Hallie would react to that. Hmmmm.....maybe I can find a "test" boyfriend to see how they react hehe |
