Hi everyone. I was having a discussion about this with a loved one and they made a point that Yorkies are like babies, not every single one is cute and people should stop lying to owners or parents.

Granted this may sound a little harsh but I want to know honestly, do you agree???

I don't think all Yorkies are cute, just as I don't think all babies are cute. Sorry, just my HO.

My mother is the same way. She used to tell me that she can't lie to a mother if she doesn't think her baby (human) is cute. She'll say, "Oh, look how small his/her feet are!" That way you're still complimenting them, and not lying!

As for YT, if I think your furbaby is cute, I will tell you. If I don't think so, I won't post that I think he/she is I just won't say anything. And...if I don't post regarding your furbaby it doesn't mean I think he/she is ugly, it just may be because I'm lazy or didn't read your post!

Okay, did I cover all avenues?

Oh, forgot to say that I don't think I found any butt-ugly Yorkies on YT yet!!!

Beauty is definitely in the eye's of the beholder. What is cute to you might not be cute to me, and vice versa.

Well said I totally agree a brief story on why: My hubbies b/f had a little girl the same time we did with our first and they asked my hubby to be the Godfather honored he accepted. Then the day came that we met her and when my hubby say her all he could say was AH and I to chose not to reply b/c she wasn't a cute baby. However now she is nearing 6 she is a tad cuter but nothing to go gaga over.... So for being brutally honest but if you can't be honest then why post

I think Yorkies are all cute but that there is a cuteness scale with some being cuter than others....Also I think everyone has their own idea of what type of yorkie they find cute...there are so many different looks!!!!!

I think there are some that are cuter than others but I have never seen one I would call ugly. They all have thier own unique look just like people.

HONESTLY...I have seen yorkies that were not appealing to me but I wouldn't tell someone that.

I truthfully, think they are all cute, but some are CUTER than others.

I agree, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's why we have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, not everybody likes the same thing. So, it doesn't make your yorkie any prettier or uglier than another one, it's all in the perception.

No, I do not think all Yorkies are cute..I have seen many,many Best in Show winners I would never call cute..they are beautiful, regal, oozing with quality..then some Yorkies are very ordinary looking, but that is okay with me..
