| Same or Rotate Food? Do you always feed your yorkie the same brand and type food (or combination thereof if you mix wet with dry or different dry foods) ? or do you rotate different brands of food with your yorkie? |

| I voted 'Rotate' I buy 2 kinds of dry food and mix it in. They do get wet food 1 or 2 times a week. The moms to be, bet it daily. |

| foods At a recent Yorkie club meeting we had a visiting vet speak. She said she treated alot of pancreatis in Yorkies and recommended a variety of foods instead of one. I have tried it also and notice the girls can pretty much eat anything now. I was going to try Chicken Soup, but have thought better since recent problems. I will try them on a number of natural foods since so many have good results..I am concerned with additives. |

| Teddy starts getting bored of the same food so I just switch it up a little for him. By the time I'm at the end of a bag of dog food he hardly eats or it will take him all day to eat a bowl where as with new food he'll eat it all up in five minutes. I can't imagine eating the same thing day after day myself!

| I have to mix Rocky's dry food with wet, so he gets a different flavors of wet food (within the same brand). He will not eat his dry food by it self, unless he has too. |

I really never thought of rotating. I thought that it would be hard on her tummy. Don't they tell you that when you switch foods, you have to gradually introduce the new one? So how would you rotate the foods? Would you feed all of one bag and then a bag of a different one the next time and back to the first after that? Pat, Tatum eats Innova right now and really likes it. What else would you recommend if I were to rotate?

| I voted rotate because I am going to mix Innova w/ the Wellness so he will have both at all times. I don't ever really give him any wet food because then he won't eat any dry food. He gets treats instead, like bully sticks.

| I rotate. Gus gets bored and his stomach can handle the change without making him sick. We go back and fourth using four different brands of hard food.

| I voted rotate because, I've heard that it's supposed to be good for the little ones to have variety. And on top of that, who would want to eat the same thing over and over and over? Tigger does really well with change, he started out on IAMS (Yuck ) switched to Nutro Ultra Puppy, from there went to Nutro Puppy lamb and rice and is now on Royal Canin Puppy 33. I haven't switched it in quite some time, so I might this next time. He also gets wet food, once a week. treats usually once a day and very little human food. |
